The Caribbean Medical Student Association (CMSA) issued a campus-wide call to action this week, launching its Reproductive Health & Wellness Drive in partnership with FiWeChildren JA to combat period poverty in Jamaica.
From now through April 19th, drop-off bins in the MEC lobby and key campus spots welcome sanitary pads, liners, and tampons. Every item collected will ship directly to underserved Jamaican communities, where lack of access forces girls to miss school and sideline their health.
