The Caribbean Medical Student Association (CMSA) turned ovens into opportunity this weekend with a fall-themed Bake Sale Fundraiser, raising funds for Jamaican reproductive health kits while treating NYMC students to autumnal delights.
The MEC lobby buzzed as attendees snapped up pumpkin cheesecake cookies, maple apple glazed cookies, pecan bar chip cookies, apple cider donuts, and pumpkin donut holes. Every purchase powered CMSA’s drive to ship sanitary products to FiWeChildren JA, addressing period poverty in Caribbean communities.
Proceeds will directly support distribution of pads, liners, and tampons, essentials for girls’ education and wellness. The event sold out fast, proving NYMC’s appetite for flavor and impact.
